My name is Shane and, as a developer, I enjoy finding solutions to complicated and challenging code problems. When it comes to our clients and projects, I take handcrafted designs and turn them into fully-functional websites, with all the bells and whistles the client desires. For me, it’s important to move web thinking forward, whether that be for our team or our client’s team. I’m always considering how we can save the client time and headache on the backend of their site while creating a streamlined user-experience. I’ve wanted to build websites since I was in 7th grade, so I am energized by my day-to-day role because I’m always solving new challenges. The web world is constantly changing and evolving, and I put pride into constantly learning new technologies and keeping an eye on any changes within the web development ecosystem. I work to build on each and every project that comes my way, so whether it’s building a website from the ground up, integrating an app for a wellness initiative with Steel and Pipe Supply or creating a custom pest evaluation form for American Pest Management to generate more leads, I grow each and every project.
When I am not coding at 502, you’ll find me playing games with friends. I love video games, Dungeons & Dragons and even the occasional disc golf game. I also like to tackle software challenges that solve day-to-day challenges for me, like the D&D tracking app I developed for my Friday night game sessions with friends. I’ve had the opportunity to travel a lot and look forward to any new hobby that involves the outdoors or gaming with friends.
